Contribution guidelines

Four things keep the database useful and the moderators happy.

• Give a source.A book, a website or your own tank. Say where the number came from.
• Only add photos you took yourself.You choose the licence: CC0, CC BY or CC BY-SA.
• Add the names on shop labels too.Trade names and common misspellings help people find the right plant.
• Keep notes friendly.Moderators are volunteers. A short, clear note gets a quicker answer.

New accounts

Until one of your suggestions is accepted you can send 10 suggestions and 5 photos a day. After 10 accepted suggestions with nothing reverted, your changes go live at once and get checked afterwards.
