How moderation works
Every edit, photo and name goes into a queue. A moderator compares it with the current page and the source you gave, then approves it or declines it with a note you can read in My contributions.
Trusted contributors’ changes go live straight away and are checked afterwards. If one turns out wrong, a moderator reverts it and the page goes back to how it was.
When enough keepers give the same one-tap answer to a quick question, it counts as one suggestion and goes to the queue like any other.
Reports of wrong information or photos go to the same queue. A moderator can also ask you a question about your suggestion; it waits in the queue until you reply.
Every decision is written to the moderation log with the moderator’s name, so it can be checked later.
