Draft. This text hasn’t been reviewed by the site owner yet and may change.

We collect as little as we can: your email address (to sign you in), the display name you choose and what you contribute.

Cookies: one keeps you signed in, one protects forms, and small ones remember your theme, units, language and whether you closed a site notice. There are no ads and no tracking cookies.

Photo location data and other camera details are removed from the copies we publish. The original file you uploaded is kept privately, so moderators can check it and handle takedown requests; it is never served to visitors.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google. We never post anything there.

Reports can be sent without signing in. To stop abuse we store a scrambled form of the sender’s network address for a while; it cannot be turned back into the address.

Your display name is shown next to your contributions. Your email never is.

Your email is used only to sign you in and, if you keep the switches on in Settings, to tell you about your contributions. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.

You can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account, from Settings. Accepted contributions stay, without your name.

The web server keeps ordinary access logs for a short time to keep the site running and secure.
